Individuals applying for a New Mexico Provisional CT License must have met the requirements for licensure in at least one New Mexico-recognized medical imaging or radiation therapy discipline (e.g., Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or Registered Radiologist Assistant) and be pursuing an approved CT certification pathway. Utilizes clinical reasoning which includes a global grasp of situations, critical thinking, decision-making, critical actions, priority setting, and escalation of concerns with associated knowledge, skills, and evidence-based guidelines in managing computerized tomographic radiograph imaging.
