The position leads human factors engineering activities supporting airworthiness and certification efforts, with particular emphasis on warning, caution, and advisory (WCA) systems, operator workload assessment, situational awareness, error prevention, and human-in-the-loop validation. Position Summary: The Human Factors Engineer serves as the technical authority for the design, evaluation, verification, and certification of the UAS Aircraft Control Station (ACS) human-machine interface (HMI).
