The Pediatric Nurse Manager interacts with the entire multidisciplinary clinical team, including, interaction with Davis 7 Nurse Manager and staff, PICU Nurse Manager and staff, Adult Clinic Nurse Manager, AN II and staff, Adult Infusion Nurse Manager, ANII and Staff, Radiation Oncology Nurse Manager and Staff, Cancer Center Admin Director, Cancer Center supervisors, physicians and nurse practitioners to assure clinical excellence and smooth coordination of patient care. The Nurse Manager will lead staff to model a professional practice environment by providing a clinically competent staff; encouraging strong interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication; supporting autonomy and accountability; providing staff opportunities for in-service and formal education; stressing the importance of continuous learning; and supporting a culture where concern for the patient is paramount.
