Work environment may involve exposure to bright / dim light, extreme heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, dusts and pollen, extreme noise levels, vibration, fumes and/or noxious odors, traffic, moving machinery, electrical shock, confined spaces, disease/pathogens, toxic / caustic chemicals, dangerous gases; and involves critical situations that require major decisions involving people, resources, and property. This position coordinates and supervises assigned functions of the Water System Improvement Division, which may include the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the City's water distribution system or customer service, meter reading and maintenance, data management and materials control operations; and performs other technical, administrative and supervisory work as required.
