The Telecommunications Service Technician performs MAC (moves, adds, and changes) work, troubleshooting, repair, and small-project cabling support for end-user and owner accounts under Division 27 scopes — copper and fiber horizontal and backbone cabling, patching, and telecom room reorganization. The employee must be able to walk sites and uneven terrain; climb and work from ladders and aerial/scissor lifts; work in mechanical/electrical rooms, ceilings, and confined spaces; and stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
