You will ensure that timely and effective results of the specifications work is accomplished. In addition, you will provide daily support for all items TOI and specifications related.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></div><ul><li>Evaluate, synthesize, and interrelate information from internal and external sources when solving problems and making decisions.</li><li>Make decisions based on analysis, experience, and good judgment; solve difficult problems with effective solutions; ask questions and probe diverse sources for answers.</li><li>Accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; organize work into logical process steps; use time effectively; establish priorities.</li><li>Involve relevant others in shaping plans and making decisions; participate in group efforts and encourage others’ participation; listen to co-workers’ concerns and provide assistance as appropriate.</li><li>Evaluate the risk/reward priority of improvement opportunities.</li><li>Develop, document, implement, and sustain TOI and specifications using appropriate data and tools.</li><li>Root cause analysis and corrective action.</li><li>Significant time spent at desk using programs to complete work.</li><li>Strong project management capabilities.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>4-year degree in Engineering, Technology, Physical Sciences.</li><li>Experience with process control and new product introduction technologies.</li><li>2+ years of manufacturing experience (preferred).</li><li>Wire & Cable industry experience (preferred).</li><li>Experience in process driven, continuous operations.</li><li>Proven project management skills.</li><li>Experience leading high performance work teams is a plus.</li><li>Programming and data analytics experience is a plus.</li></ul>

We're looking for someone with experience with mechanical product design experience and advanced surface modeling skills to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats.<br/><br/><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong><br/><br/>Conceptualizes and defines all aspects of form, function, aesthetics, and end user interface, while meeting defined criteria for product features, cost, manufacturability, and project schedules. Creates and maintains all engineering and assembly drawings, parts manuals and build procedures.<br/><br/><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b><br/><br/><ul><li>Product Design and Development </li><li>Taking concept renderings and conceptual surface models to Class-A surface levels.</li><li>Utilizing Solidworks to create solid models and 2D drawings necessary for manufacturing parts.</li><li>Utilizing Solidworks/Rhino 3D models based on scan data through reverse engineering.</li><li>Working with the engineering design team to create designs from written and verbal input.</li><li>Researching, developing and/or recommending materials for construction and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Performing routine engineering calculations including stress analysis, fit analysis and tolerance stack-ups.</li><li>Continually reviewing current designs for cost effectiveness, manufacturing and quality improvements.</li><li>Working directly with project managers and the research and development department on multiple projects.</li><li>Assisting in prototype development and product testing.</li><li>Prioritizing work duties, and following through on action items. </li></ul><ul><li>CAD Operation </li><li>Solid Modeling and Parametric modeling </li><li>3D surface modeling </li><li>Software maintenance</li><li>Detail drawings</li><li>Design layouts</li><li>Parts illustration and manuals including parts listings and updates</li><li>Templates - Production and R&D</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br/><br/><ul><li>2-5 years experience in a product design or design engineering role.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.</li><li>Must have mechanical product design experience using solid modeling application.</li><li>Proficient with 3D CAD software and advanced surface modeling is a must.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment is a must</li></ul>
