Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: BLS; RDCS (ARDMS) OR RCS or ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI) Certifications: PALS (preferred), ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Skills in 2D, doppler, color flow, 3D, and strain - Experience with contrast studies - Stress echo skills and knowledge of interventional procedures preferred - RN experience with TEEs, stress testing, EKG interpretation, IV management, cardioversion, and mild sedation Description: A cardiac sonographer performs echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic procedures. The position requires expertise in advanced TTE, TEE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo studies.
