The focus for this role is to work as an experienced responsible engineer, ensuring the technical integrity of your products and leading a small engineering team responsible for the design, drawings, documentation, and support of ground electronic test systems, primarily racks of equipment designed to test the Orion spacecraft as it is manufactured at Kennedy Space Center. The EGSE team is responsible for the design of a wide variety of test equipment, including low voltage AC/DC power, batteries, analog and digital signals, telemetry systems, RF electronics, audio & video, computer systems, vehicle emulators, cabling, and networking equipment that is used to interface with, test, and monitor spacecraft vehicles and other flight hardware.
