The Forming Operator Journeyman should have: Previous experience with bottle tongs, hand tools, swabs, conveyors, ware gauges, computer terminal, etc. and materials including molten glass, molds, oil, dope, gloves, compressed air, etc. The Forming Operator Journeyman operates the bottle forming machine, tools and equipment, performs defect analysis (gauging and visual) and necessary adjustments to the machine, feeder, stacker, etc. and assists with breakdown repairs and job changes.
