Responsibilities: You will: Provide technical consultation and leadership for the US Electrical Power life cycle, acting as the highest technical authority for power generation-related decisions within the Electrical Power domain; Power generation domain primarily covers aerospace class electric machines (Wound Field synchronous, Permanent Magnet, Induction and other types in kW to MW range, 115 Vac to 2000+ Vac class). Demonstrated expertise and experience in power generation architecture, high power, high voltage and high-altitude generator systems, generator design, development, modeling and simulation, integration with power converters, knowledge of machine electromagnetic design, thermal and oil system design, mechanical dynamics, test and integration.
