Comfort in planning experiments requiring the use of animal models or animal tissues; experience in animal handling, routine routes of injection (intravenous, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral gastric, and intrathecal), health and clinical end point monitoring, sample collection and tissue harvesting is required. Demonstrated ability using plate-based assays and molecular biology techniques including, but not limited to, immunoassays (ELISA, MSD kits, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blots), RNA processing and qPCR; preparation of tissue for histology; experience with flow cytometry is a plus but not required.
