Full shifts are typically 6:45 AM - 6:15 PM with an hour lunch. Half shifts are either 6:45 AM - 11:45 AM or 12:45 PM - 6:15 PM.As a Doggie Daycare Attendant, you have the important job of ensuring our furry clients are well cared for and happy. You love providing each animal with the exercise and attention they need to be healthy and content. Whether you're walking a skittish Yorkie or a strong-willed Siberian Husky, you understand how to handle each breed with confidence. You are as enthusiastic and energetic as the animals you care for, and you're always on the go!Safety is your top priority, and you keep a watchful eye on your canine companions. Responsibilities  <ul><li>Assist the Director with daily center operations, scheduling, and classroom coverage</li><li>Supervise, support, and guide teaching staff to ensure quality classroom practices</li><li>Step in as a classroom teacher or provide hands-on support when staffing needs arise</li><li>Use creativity to support curriculum planning, special events, and program improvements</li><li>Support enrollment efforts, tours, and family onboarding to maintain strong enrollment</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with families to encourage involvement and retention</li><li>Participate in community outreach, events, and partnerships to promote the center</li><li>Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies</li><li>Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and center updates</li><li>Address parent or staff concerns in a fair, calm, and respectful manner</li><li>Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance support</li><li>Maintain accurate records, including attendance, enrollment, and required documentation</li><li>Help create a positive, organized, and team-focused work environment</li><li>Assume leadership responsibilities in the Director’s absence</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>The required licensing/certification to perform this role</li><li>Past experience working with children in a group setting</li><li>Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education is preferred</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing a team</li><li>Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education Graduation from an accredited 4-year college, or a Registered Nurse with less than a 4-year degree dealing with children in a group setting.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent with a Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance Certificate (30 clock hours of Administrator Orientation training, or equivalent recognized by the Department), and 2 years' experience with children in a group setting.</li></ul>
