Collaborate with other college support services including: Academic Affairs, Rainbow Pride Center, MESA, Counseling, Admissions, Financial Aid, Career and Transfer Center, Basic Needs Center, CalWORKs, Family Resource Center, Child Development Center, Dream Resource Center, Associate Student Union, International Students, Puente, Rising Scholars, TAP/ Honors, Umoja, Veterans Resource Center, Adult Education, Noncredit, and Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to maximize resources and services for students. (b) In addition, an EOPS Director hired after October 24, 1987, must have, within the last four years, two years of experience or the equivalent: (1) In the management or administration of educational programs, community organizations, government programs, or private industry in which the applicant dealt predominantly with ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by language, social or economic disadvantages or, (2) As a community college EOPS counselor or EOPS instructor, or have comparable experience in working with disadvantaged clientele.
