Lead the dental team at the site, including oversight of dental support staff and clinical operations • Monitor weekly ordering and inventory management • Report equipment repair needs and support site-level dental operations • Attend site staff and leadership meetings, as well as departmental meetings • Coordinate with the Health Center Director, Dental Director of Operations, and Chief Dental Officer on operational matters • Perform root canal therapy on anterior teeth and other teeth within scope • Conduct full-mouth periodontal exams and develop treatment plans • Take impressions and create models for dentures and crowns • Consult with other healthcare professionals to plan appropriate dental treatments • Extract infected or non-restorable teeth • Provide preventive counseling, anticipatory guidance, and oral hygiene education • Locate and restore cavities following diagnosis and radiographic review • Conduct comprehensive oral exams and document findings using OpenDental and eCW medical record systems.
