Areas of interest include large-scale biomedical data science and biostatistical analysis of multimodal patient research data, including clinical records, imaging, genomics, pathology, and physiologic signals; trustworthy, reproducible, explainable, and sustainable AI; health data cybersecurity and privacy; prospective trials and real-world evaluation of AI systems; human–AI interaction and human–computer teaming; AI-enabled biosensors for continuous health monitoring; world models, simulations, and digital twins; lab-in-the-loop approaches that connect computational models with iterative experimentation; AI for drug design, therapeutic development, and scientific discovery; and generative AI and synthetic data for simulation, privacy preservation, model development, and evaluation. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
