n \nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \n\n Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms\u202f \n Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations\u202f \n Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC\u202f \n Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs\u202f \n Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner\u202f \n Fulfills work orders in a timely manner\u202f \n Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems\u202f \n Perform various other duties as assigned\u202f\u202f \n \n\u202f \n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE \n\n Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred\u202f \n Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines\u202f \n In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry\u202f \n \nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES \n\n Basic math skills\u202f \n Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing\u202f \n Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members\u202f \n Excellent time management skills\u202f \n \nPHYSICAL DEMANDS \n \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
