Skills Required: Must have experience with: centrifugal compressors; steam turbines; MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD; Working in a manufacturing / repair shop on customer service projects for turbomachinery equipment; project engineering, including managing manufacturing or repair projects, Leading technical discussions, working with manufacturing and engineering suppliers; Report writing, including inspection reports, supplier audit reports, Non-conformance reports, and technical statements for turbomachinery products; Manufacturing engineering including experience with router creation, technical risk assessments, and knowledge of machining, assembly, welding, nondestructive testing, metallurgy; Mechanical engineering including consideration of stress analysis, vibration analysis, and metallurgy for turbomachinery products; and Resolving technical and manufacturing issues by working with engineering and manufacturing shop resources. Minimum education and experience required: Seven (7) years of experience with turbomachinery (centrifugal compressors, steam turbines) relating to manufacturing, inspection, or repairs or related experience OR A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of experience with turbomachinery (centrifugal compressors, steam turbines) relating to manufacturing, inspection, or repairs or related experience.
