Lead and manage the team of FTE staff, volunteers, and contractors (i.e., dentists, hygienists, assistants) who work on the mobile dental clinic and drivers who deliver the van from site to site, including recruiting, contracting, and the provision of ongoing training to ensure the SmileMobile is able to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant care; and managing work schedules to ensure the SmileMobile is fully staffed during its clinics to support operations and service delivery. Cultivate relationships with local communities, nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, and local health jurisdictions cross the state of Washington, prioritizing areas and communities furthest from health equity, to understand the oral health care needs and goals of the local residents to ensure that the SmileMobile program is increasing access to care in the communities that need it most.
