Provides guests with service by reviewing banquet event order, ensuring and verifying rooms, audio visual equipment, lighting, microphone, sound, and room temperature are set as requested, verifying bar beverage availability, scheduling Banquet Servers, acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the resort and event rooms, promptly delivering and serving food and beverages, informing kitchen staff of meal adjustments and/or timing of delivery, providing wine selection assistance as needed, ensuring prompt removal and delivery of food courses, refilling and/or removal of glassware as appropriate, and preparing guest check. Ensures responsible alcohol beverage service polices are followed by asking for proper identification from guests that appear to be under the age of 30, monitoring alcohol consumption, ensuring guests do not become intoxicated following established procedures, stopping alcohol service at the designated time, and clearing the room of all alcoholic containers, glasses and bottles for each venue at the time specified.
