Works in performed in or around a water facility with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions, inclement weather, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts and machinery, heights, noise, vibration, cramped/confined spaces, water hazards, mechanical/electrical hazards, electric currents, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, dust, and other airborne particles. Under general supervision, learns and performs work operating, maintaining, and repairing the City of Bryan's Water Production Facilities including cooling towers, water wells, storage reservoirs, chlorination equipment, distribution pumps, electric motors, and related mechanical equipment.
