This role ensures continuous delivery of high-quality software by maintaining infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities: <ul><li class="MsoNormal">Lead the implementation of automation and deployment strategies</li><li class="MsoNormal">Represent the DevOps function in sprint planning and retrospectives</li><li class="MsoNormal">Provide technical expertise in infrastructure, monitoring, and performance optimization</li><li class="MsoNormal">Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure smooth delivery pipelines</li><li class="MsoNormal">Collaborate on CI/CD integration, deployment strategies, and debugging</li><li class="MsoNormal">Coordinate automated testing and release validation</li><li class="MsoNormal">Align on server provisioning, monitoring, and incident response</li><li class="MsoNormal">Understand deployment timelines and feature readiness</li><li class="MsoNormal">Ensure compliance with security standards and vulnerability management</li><li class="MsoNormal">Support, troubleshooting, upgrades</li><li class="MsoNormal">Long term planning/road mapping, high level solution design</li><li class="MsoNormal">Infrastructure Scalability - Ensuring systems scale with user demand without downtime </li><li class="MsoNormal">Deployment Failures - Diagnosing and resolving CI/CD pipeline issues </li><li class="MsoNormal">Security Compliance - Keeping infrastructure compliant with evolving security standards </li><li class="MsoNormal">Cross-Team Coordination - Aligning priorities and timelines across departments</li><li class="MsoNormal">Golden Image Development and Management –Building and maintaining a library of server images </li><li class="MsoNormal">Blueprint Development and Management –Maintaining scripts and artifacts for standing up and tearing down our various solution/application environments </li></ul><ul><li class="MsoNormal">May be assigned to lead or support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Occasionally involved in proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations for new DevOps tools or platforms.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Could participate in internal security or compliance committees to align infrastructure practices with regulatory standards.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Provides technical mentorship to junior developers and system administrators.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Offers best practice guidance to development teams on deployment strategies, environment configuration, and performance tuning.</li><li class="MsoNormal">High level of confidentiality is expected due to access to production systems, user data, security credentials, and deployment pipelines.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Must adhere to strict access control policies and data protection regulations.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Expected to proactively identify inefficiencies in deployment and infrastructure processes and propose automation or optimization solutions.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Contribute to internal documentation, playbooks, and knowledge bases to support team scalability.</li><li class="MsoNormal">May require on-call availability or remote support for international teams or systems.</li></ul> Required Skills Preferred Background: <ul><li class="MsoNormal">3+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering role</li><li class="MsoNormal">Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments a plus</li></ul> Education: <ul><li class="MsoNormal">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul> Skills & Traits: <ul><li class="MsoNormal">Proficiency in scripting languages (e.G., PowerShell, Bash)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps with VSTS a plus)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Morpheus, Terraform/Ansible)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Knowledge of containerization a plus but not required (Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li class="MsoNormal">Excellent communication and collaboration abilities</li><li class="MsoNormal">Passion for automation and continuous improvement</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong understanding of networking concepts, Linux/Unix systems, and cloud-native architectures.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Must possess a continuous learning mindset to stay current with rapidly evolving DevOps tools and methodologies.</li></ul>
