Montgomery, PA 17752Penn Line Tree Service, Inc., is accepting applications for a Field Mechanic position in the Williamsport-Montgomery, PA area. This position will entail working in the Montgomery, PA shop as well as field work.The nature of work involves providing mobile maintenance and repair support. Technician duties may include servicing light to medium duty trucks, heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance on other forms of specialized equipment such as various types of boom trucks, diesel trucks, tractors, excavators, dozers, trucks, trailers, bunchers, forwarders, skidders, and chippers. Hydraulics experience is a plus. A valid Commercial Driver's License is preferred; training will be provided in order to obtain a commercial driver's license.Candidates may be asked to haul equipment and materials between multiple job sites and corporate office location. Candidate will be working out of both the Montgomery, PA shop and a mobile service unit traveling to various field locations to provide repairs on site. Candidate must be able to provide own tools.Two to four years mechanic experience or certification in automotive and diesel truck repair from an accredited trade school is preferred.Work Schedule:
4 -10 HR days, either; Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday with periods of mandatory overtime. Employees are also required to work emergency storm duty as need arises.Rate of Pay:
