3. Completes comprehensive social histories including patient’s mental health status, preexisting health, mental health and substance abuse problems, strengths and deficits, social role functioning, employment status, relevant cultural and religious factors, social, behavioral, environmental, and financial issues to develop a clinical assessment and treatment plan consistent with the scope of practice of a Licensed Independent Social Worker as defined by the Iowa Social Work Licensure Act. Participates at meetings and committees as assigned by manager and additionally meetings sponsored by agencies or groups of agencies to increase knowledge of resources and community networking.
