p>Specifically, the SVP, Construction will have the following duties and responsibilities: - Lead selection of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms to construct ASP projects;
- Lead negotiation of EPC contracting in coordination with outside counsel and ASP management;
- Lead and execute procurement strategy for ASP, including solar modules, energy storage systems, and other key equipment in coordination with our procurement advisors;
- Oversee construction of ASP projects in coordination with ASP Construction Project Managers;
- Direct ASP Construction Project Managers in coordination with the Director, ASP;
- Support structured financing, project acquisition, and portfolio management functions as related to EPC and construction functions (i.e. Independent Engineer reports, O&M decisions related to construction, etc.);
- Engage professionally with external stakeholders;
- Closely track and report on relevant market, industry, and regulatory developments; and.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Clean Energy, or a related field;
- At least seven years of experience in renewable energy construction, EPC selection and contract negotiation, procurement, or a relevant clean energy/power generation or construction field;
- Previous experience as a senior manager or director at a construction company or IPP or experience as a VP at an investment firm;
- Strong technical understanding of distributed energy construction, technology, EPC functions, and operations;
- Demonstrated experience successfully selecting, executing, and managing EPC relationships;
- Experience procuring solar modules, energy storage systems, and other key equipment;
- Familiarity with managing project managers and consultants;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Fluency in written and verbal communications; and.
