One year experience in disciplines relating to public works operation and maintenance, or water utility operations and maintenance, or natural gas utility operations and maintenance, or general commercial or residential construction, or land clearing, or pipeline construction, or landscaping and irrigation, or plumbing, or metal fabrication or machining, or manufacturing, or farming or ranching, or building maintenance, or machine/equipment operation or maintenance, or warehouse/dock work, or other similar activities. Installs, maintains, modifies and repairs a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment in the City's water and wastewater collection, distribution, treatment and related facilities and systems, including, but not limited to, pumps, compressors, valves, motors, engines, controllers, conveyor systems, mechanical drives and related or similar systems and equipment.
