Job Description** + Earn $28.25 per hour + 1st Shift , schedule TBD + 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06069 **Description** + Under the supervision of a Shift Manager, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for directing the day to day hourly warehouse associates within an assigned AOR to achieve daily operational goals + Lead & follow-up on team activities & drive accountability within their assigned Warehouse + Communicate daily expectations with team members + Attend daily, weekly and monthly supervisor meetings + Attend or participate in management training classes for leadership development + Carry out assigned projects for leadership development + Communicate with other supporting functional groups within C&S + Travel Required: No **Environment** + Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F) **Skills** + Specialized Knowledge : Knowledgeable of shipping and receiving procedures and experience working in various warehouse positions + Special Skills : Read, write, operate MHE equipment (pallet jack), other required materials handling equipment (MHE), effective communication skills, team player, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills, Comfortable using technology + Physical abilities: You will be constantly seeing, hearing, sitting and handling paperwork.
