Background Requirements: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree is required and 5+ years of experience in wide-area power system modelling, analysis, and planning, including Power Flow, Short Circuit, Protection and Coordination, Arc Flash, Volt/VAR, and Time Series studies on the distribution system Experience functioning in a technical role in distribution studies and capable of conducting studies under the direction of a technical supervisor is strongly desired Proficient with power system modeling and analysis tools including CYME's CYMDist, Milsoft's WindMil, and/or DNV GL's Synergi required Experience with Python scripting is a plus Must possess strong communication skills, including listening, writing, and presentation skills Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively with many different people with diverse backgrounds and geographic locations Active P.E. license is preferred but not required * Must be a US Citizen At Leidos, we pride ourselves on being a trusted and technology-focused solutions provider.
