Consider joining our team and work with peers who have vast industry knowledge and experience solving complex problems.   Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is looking for a dynamic Pipeline Engineering Program Manager to join our Houston office.  The Pipeline Engineering Program Manager develops and applies broad knowledge and skills in various natural gas and liquids pipeline infrastructure projects and independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to lead project execution teams.  Projects range in size and complexity from small to large, including both natural gas distribution and transmission; liquids pipelines; and terminals, facilities and stations type projects.   Key Responsibilities include: <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts that include complex, multi-disciplinary projects</li><li>Leading, growing and mentoring staff – supporting the achievement of professional career goals</li><li>Review pipeline and facility designs, including the review of designs and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and design criteria </li><li>Review construction specification and bid packages</li><li>Review alternative/feasibility studies </li><li>Review status reports with task completion, progress, challenges, and solutions </li><li>Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and manage engineering resources within budget</li><li>Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams ensuring company quality standards and driving customer value</li><li>Devise new approaches to problems encountered</li><li>Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting</li><li>Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution</li><li>Build relationships on technical and client service teams and within client organizations</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders</li></ul>Education/Certification: <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Required, Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Required, Professional Engineer (PE)</li></ul>Skills & Experience: <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Experienced with client development / management</li><li>Experienced with team building and mentoring and developing project execution teams</li><li>8+ years of related pipeline and energy infrastructure experience</li><li>Experienced in project planning activities with a background in utilizing standard tools and information to make tactical course corrections regarding budgeting, scheduling, and scope changes</li><li>Ability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts internally and externally</li><li>Production design experience either first-hand or through reviews of work products and independent technical reviews</li></ul>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check. Move Forward with Kleinfelder: Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
