li>An associate's degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two (2) years of human services related experience such as work providing assistance to people and groups with economical disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing. The case manager utilizes advanced assessment skills and in-depth knowledge of multiple interconnected systems and childhood development to mitigate complex support needs, coordinate services, ensure child safety, and facilitate transition to an educational setting.
