Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications: Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, non-restricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio, board certification or board eligibility in adult primary care or emergency medicine, federal DEA registration number, current basic life support certification from the AHA, and ability to meet specific credential and privileging requirements to be determined by MetroHealth. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with MetroHealth leadership, County Correctional leadership, clinical and support staff on identifying opportunities for new or revised processes to ensure access, performance improvement, as well as development of an effective, high quality, skilled and motivated workforce.
