Combines leftover good material into finished rolls and palletizes for shipment to the customer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.<ul><li>Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed.</li><li>Mounts slit rolls of product onto shaft of machine using lift cart. Removes rolls as well.</li><li>Sets up and makes necessary adjustments to the machine.</li><li>Must be able to identify defects and splice good material together per spec.</li><li>Reads and understands specs of products being run. Must know packaging materials required for palletizing finished product also. Occasionally uses hand tools to prepare packaging materials.</li><li>Completes daily production reports.</li><li>Operates stretch wrap machine to wrap finished pallets.</li><li>Regularly cleans machine and surrounding area.</li><li>Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations. Follows plant safety rules.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>RequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
