We also offer identity theft protection, pet insurance, and much more.</li><li>Paid time off that increases with seniority</li><li>Professional development and promotion opportunities</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>We offer competitive variable compensation opportunities and commission on sales.</li><li>Work with an amazing team!</li></ul>Physician Eyecare Group Clinical Duties<ul><li>The Physician Eyecare Group (PEG) provides all clinical services for a store, and PEG doctors provide supervision, direction and guidance to the Doctor’s Technicians to regarding but not limited to Diagnostic Pre-Testing, and Digital Refraction, Contact Lens care and executing all PEG clinical standards.</li><li>Meet all training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and certification requirements and clinical standards developed by the Physician Eyecare Group.</li><li>The role will also require this person to communicate effectively with the supervising PEG physician for all direction and guidance with regards to patient care within their store.</li><li>Achieve desired daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly PEG goals.</li></ul>Operational Duties <ul><li>Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with other team members to accomplish store goals, clinical metrics and initiatives.</li><li>Greet our patients as they enter the store, identify patients' needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while providing information about available products and services.</li><li>Answer customers' inquiries and gather necessary information to ensure a positive experience. </li><li>Schedule and confirm appointments</li><li>Assist with patient complaint resolution and inform the status of pending orders; ensure all patient expectations are met.</li><li>Ensure brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when necessary.</li><li>Maintain patient records confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA requirements.</li><li>Other duties as assigned and required.</li></ul>Key Qualifications <ul><li>You have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>You have 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.</li><li>You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.</li><li>You have a passion for customer satisfaction and maintain a positive demeanor.</li><li>You remain proactive and execute problem solving skills to address potential patients’ concerns or rebuttals.</li><li>You are driven by results and have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.</li><li>You have schedule flexibility? This six-month deep dive into the action of emergency is a structured, immersive program like no other that allows participants to transition into full-time ER doctors at VEG after successful completion. Integrating academic and clinical teachings with individualized mentorship, this program fuels a passion for ER and creates a deeper meaning around life-saving veterinary heroics. If you're hungry to learn how to do ER, perform surgeries, advance your endoscopy skills, learn about exotics, and discover the unique rewards of customer-focused care in an open concept hospital, we find a way to say yes to training you in our NERD program. WHAT YOU'LL DO<ul><li>Work side-by-side with experienced VEG doctors who will mentor you through real ER cases, offering guidance and feedback every step of the way. This isn't just shadowing—it's hands-on learning with built-in mentorship.</li><li>New ER Doctors (a.k.a. NERDS!) get up-close, firsthand ER experience, working 3-4 hospital shifts per week (days, swings, and nights), as well as through weekly case discussions, literature reviews, and hands-on training at state-of-the-art facilities. </li><li>Learn best practices for client-centered communication and care, the VEG Way.</li></ul>What CE experiences can you expect to attend during the program?From hands-on training to weekly didactic learning, NERD program participants earn over 160 RACE-approved CE hours in just six months—which takes most doctors 10 years to complete!
