Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be expected to: • Establish and sustain a strong externally-funded research program in their field of expertise • Produce an excellent record of scholarly publications • Incorporate modern pedagogical skills in teaching nursing courses to undergraduate and graduate courses • Supervise and support DNP student projects • Provide service to the SON, the college, and university, as well as to appropriate community and professional organizations. Experience in progressive academic leadership and exhibited strength in teaching in nursing, a sustained research record in nursing science or related health care fields with external research funding potential, and prior teaching experience in baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing programs or credentials to meet the North Carolina Board of Nursings educational requirement are required.
