Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of recent progressive care experience License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Must-Have: Strong neuro assessment and cardiac monitoring skills Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips Experience with Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin drips EPIC experience required Comfortable with CPAP, high-flow oxygen, telemetry monitoring, ECGs, and escalation of rhythm or clinical changes Description: This position supports the adult inpatient division and involves floating based on staffing needs. Common diagnoses include stroke evaluation, chest pain, arrhythmias, CHF, sepsis, respiratory failure, AKI, GI bleeding, altered mental status, postoperative care, and other medical/PCU diagnoses.
