Summary Description: The basic function of the CAD Drafter & Technical Specialist is to use computer software to create detailed technical drawings and plans for marine and industrial construction projects, including lift plans, job construction plans, survey layouts, construction templates, project detailing, and the like; perform project scheduling using Microsoft Project Scheduling, P6 Scheduling, and the similar software programs; conduct surveys, field inspections, and field measurements (pre-construction, mid-construction, and post-construction); gather information and data; create, draft, and present presentations, surveys, reports, letterhead proposals, spreadsheets, and the like; provide layouts; create drawings; perform material takeoffs; perform inspections; and assist in the various phases of marine and industrial construction projects.
