The job requires physical labor, you must wear proper company provided PPE (including but not limited to hard hat, ear plugs, vest, harness), have steel toed boots (company has boot reimbursement program each year to each employee), must pass pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test, be subject to random testing, maintain a company paid DOT medical certificate, and adhere to ALL safety protocols of Steel Drilling and its customers. As a mobile mechanic for a stone quarry drilling & construction drilling company you will be working with pick-up trucks, quarry trucks, track drills, T4BH drills on crane carriers, compressors and other heavy equipment at the quarries and construction sites as needed in the Rockaway, NJ area and surrounding 2 hour radius with occasional jobs further out of the area.
