Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager Act as the lead for in-house crews Oversee daily schedules, delivery schedules, and daily productivity of the Aerial crew Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team You will have 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction You know the telecom construction industry Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc. In addition, you will: Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable Place, relocate, remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop and block wire in order to maintain efficient operation of the customers' facilities Set up a safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions to ensure the project is built according to the approved design specifications Direct the activities on the job site Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.
