Work Environment: Work is performed in a food-manufacturing facility around moving machinery, wet or slippery surfaces, steam, hot surfaces, chemicals, electrical equipment, elevated noise, airborne particles, and indoor/outdoor temperature extremes that may range from freezing conditions to above 100°F. Special Equipment Used: Company-approved hand tools, power tools, meters and test instruments, welding and cutting equipment, fabrication equipment, ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and other maintenance equipment appropriate to the employee's training and authorization.
