To be considered for the Highway Maintenance Worker 2 level, the following is required: Journey-Level Highway & Roadway Maintenance: Demonstrated experience performing roadway maintenance, roadway construction, heavy equipment operation, over the road or other truck driving, farming, landscaping, general construction, or related experience. Advanced - Independently assess maintenance needs and perform a full range of highway or roadway maintenance activities (e.g., pavement repair, drainage system maintenance, erosion control, vegetation management, and sign/guardrail work) and safely operate multiple types of maintenance equipment.
