Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles, including inspections of brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, steering, suspension, safety equipment, heating and cooling systems, and other components as required by law. Reporting to the Director of Transportation, school van and bus drivers are responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation for students to and from school, athletic competitions, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities as needed.
