Jackson Park Driving Range is hiring!The Driving Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering a clean, efficient, and welcoming experience for guests.Compensation: $17.80 per hourCore Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate the driving range counter - sell range buckets, process transactions accurately, and assist guests with purchases.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized counter area and shop space.</li><li>Pick range balls using the mechanical picker and range vehicle, following scheduled rotation.</li><li>Clean, sort, and restock range balls to ensure consistent supply throughout operating hours.</li><li>Monitor range conditions and communicate any safety concerns or maintenance needs to management.</li><li>Greet guests professionally and answer questions about range operations, pricing, and facility amenities.</li><li>Enforce range rules and etiquette to ensure a safe environment for all guests.</li><li>Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.</li></ul>What Were Looking For:<ul><li>Friendly, reliable, and punctual - youre often the first face guests see.</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li><li>Able to operate or willing to learn range picking equipment (training provided).</li><li>Basic POS experience preferred.</li><li>Interest in golf or the golf industry a plus, but not required.</li><li>Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak season.</li></ul>Work Environment:
This is a physically active, outdoor-heavy role. Attendants split time between counter service and range maintenance. Expect a fast-paced environment during peak hours, particularly on weekends and warm weather days. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; physical stamina required for extended periods of standing, walking, and outdoor work.
