A Lube Technician lubricates, oils and maintains equipment in the field and may make minor repairs in the field, which may consist of: Adjusting V-BeltsTightening or replacing loose or missing bolts or fastenersReplacing a Ground Engaging Tool such as bolt-on teeth or tipsAdjusting track tensionReplacing a lamp, lens, or bulb in the electrical systemReplacing a blown fuse or a bad switchReplacing a seat pad or armrestReplacing wiper bladesReplacing cab hardware such as knobs, door latches, and stepsRepairing or replacing safety equipment such as a backup alarm, seat belt, or mirrorsRepair, fabricate and replace hosesRetrieves codes, downloads and performs minor calibrations. Work Environment: Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts; Frequently will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions; Occasionally will work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, vibration.
