Compensation Range $81,300.00 - $122,000.00 Annual SalaryJob Description Summary: Assist and coordinate VDC activities, leverage industry standard software, and produce consistent Virtual Design Constructions (VDC) deliverables across projects/divisions.Job Description: Position Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Able to perform essential Project Engineer responsibilities and duties.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with reviewing pursuit and project information to produce industry leading realistic renderings, graphics, animations , and o ther visuals to support pursuits.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with pursuit s team to develop best-in-class site logistics plans and assist with developing content to support interviews and pursuit as directed .</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize tools and software for site surveying and layout with supervision.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with the setup of background models to ensure efficient project setup, utilize real world coordinates and project coordinates to support effective coordination, surveying, and layout .</li></ul><ul><li>Setup cloud based collaborative workspaces .</li></ul><ul><li>Support with setting up model sharing environments for various project contract types and uses .</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize reality capture techniques and technolog ies to support project teams with produc ing useful deliverables to solve challenges .</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize existing conditions capture technology data to compare existing conditions to design intent , identify discrepancies , and work collaboratively with teams to resolve .</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with reality capture documentation and converting into accurate model of various trades.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with conducting VDC-related constructability reviews and manage resolution of design conflicts with design and trade partners.</li></ul><ul><li>Observe and a ssist with VDC - related schedule activities .</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with setting up efficient meetings and educating project teams to be able to run project coordination meetings .</li></ul><ul><li>Identify , assign, and resolve coordination clashes to support efficient coordination .</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with as-built s , facility operations, and maintenance requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Support with export layout, s pooling , or other fabrication files based on required or standard templates</li></ul><ul><li>Develop modeling and detailing deliverables for at least one self-perform discipline.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide f ield support and assist with training o n implementing VDC tools and processes .</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with training on proper VDC applications, based on delivery method and type of construction.</li></ul><ul><li>Support with reviewing, developing plans, and managing project requirements and deliverables related to coordination and self-perform trades.</li></ul><ul><li>Support projects for any operating group within the company, as necessary.</li></ul><ul><li>Complete other responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul> Minimum Requirements or Experience Requirements <ul><li>B achelor's degree or Drywall field exp .</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 1- 3 years of design, engineering, or construction experience ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of industry standard BIM software application (working knowledge a plus)</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Revit, a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge and understanding of commercial construction means and methods.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to read and understand plans and specification s.</li></ul><ul><li>Effectively written and verbal c ommunication</li></ul><ul><li>Organized individual with the ability to m ulti-t ask.</li></ul><ul><li>Critical thinking ability, relationship driven , and effective problem-solving skills.</li></ul>SUMMARY OF BENEFITS: This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical , dental , vision , 401(k) with company matching , Employee Stock Own ership Program (ESOP) , i ndividual stock ownership , paid vacation , paid sick leave , paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program , pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D , business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability , f inancial wellness coaching , educational assistance, Care.com membership , ClassPass fitness membership , and DashPass delivery membership.
