Assists the Utility Relocation Manager in coordinating and managing City forces, Citizens and outside professionals in the research, preparation, review, inspection of new and relocated water / wastewater / storm water utility plans and construction; Maintains accurate and up-to-date project records; Reviews highway construction plans for conflicts with existing City utilities and designs and lay out solutions; Assists the Utility Relocation Manager in researching maps and engineering plans to identify problem areas and opportunities for the enhancement of the Citys water and sewer systems; Tracks work between varies City Departments; prepares drawings and documents necessary for obtaining various permits and approvals; Represents the City at SCDOT/Municipal project briefings, preconstruction conferences and field meetings; Researches City files to establish proof of prior rights for existing city owned utilities.
