Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience performing troubleshooting and debugging across Linux, Solaris, and AIX environments; analyzing system logs through Splunk dashboards to identify incidents, monitoring process states using ITRS Geneos, and leveraging alerting dashboards and inter-service dependency insights to execute runbook-driven mitigations and ensure platform stability; executing end-to-end application production operations incident and application service delivery service request workflows, including alert ingestion, event correlation, triage, root cause isolation, coordinated stakeholder communication, and controlled closure; performing root cause analysis (RCA), identifying systemic production issues by analyzing Unix/Linux server error and audit logs, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence and improve service reliability; supporting critical severity application production incidents through rapid impact assessment, cross-functional bridge coordination, and real-time status reporting; reviewing and initiating change records, conducting impact and conflict analysis, validating implementation and rollback procedures, and executing post-change deployment verification; performing systems health checks post production deployment in alignment with change management controls; planning and executing server upgrades and application patching activities to enhance system security and reliability; supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) testing to ensure continuity of service meets regulatory requirements and reduce downtime risks by validating failover and failback procedures, capturing audit evidence, and remediating gaps to ensure repeatable recovery processes; executing incident, service request, change, and problem records through lifecycle closure, ensuring comprehensive audit traceability, evidentiary documentation, and adherence to ITIL control frameworks; reviewing application and platform changes to validate completeness of required artifacts, including implementation plans, rollback procedures, impact assessments, and validation steps, to ensure risks are identified and mitigated prior to execution.
