Oversee end-to-end production of the show, from pre- to post-production, including: Work with host to hone ideas, structure episodes, and draft scripts; Work to get the best tape and sound quality from the host and guest during tapings and ensure the interview covers all the necessary points; Manage post production, applying incisive editorial judgment to deliver sharp first drafts on tight deadlines; Cut rough drafts of episodes in Premiere, demonstrating knowledge of the tone and pacing necessary for a compelling watching and listening experience. Responsibilities include: Work with the host and supervising producer to maintain editorial excellence and shepherd ideas through the creative process by pitching show topics and guests, and acting as the point person for pre-interviews, booking, and tech set up.
