Other responsibilities include: Connecting MDs/RNs/Technologists with Radiologists regarding imaging studies, Upload imaging studies to/from ancillary facilities to expedite patient care(via VPN, Lifeimage, Powershare, etc), Monitor study progress through Synape (PACS) to ensure timeliness and accuracy, Initiate call-in process for On-call teams, Patient and Physician communication of imaging information within the HIPPA guidelines. The incumbent operates and or supports the following imaging equipment and related machinery: Picture Archiving Communication System, PACS, Dry View Laser Imager, CD burners, Digitizers, Evercore, Powerscribe, Powershare, LifeImage, and Telerad.
