EMS Program Medical Director and Associate Professor (Fellowship) Community College of AuroraEMS Program Medical Director and Associate Professor (Fellowship)Aurora, COnREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n \nThe Medical Director must \n \n1) Be a physician currently licensed and board certified or equivalent; \n \n2) Have adequate training or experience in the delivery of out-of-hospital emergency care, including the proper care and transport of patients, medical direction, and quality improvement in out-of-hospital care; \n \n3) Have the requisite knowledge and skills to advise the program leadership about the clinical/academic aspects of the program; and \n \n4) Be knowledgeable about the education of the Emergency Medical Services Professions, including professional, legislative and regulatory issues regarding the education of the Emergency Medical Services Professions; and \n \n5) Be knowledgeable in teaching the subjects assigned, when applicable.\n \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n Experience teaching in an accredited paramedic or emergency medicine program\n Board certification in Emergency Medicine or EMS Medicine\n \nSUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION\n \nSalary Range:The pay rate is $55.00 per hour.\n \nFELLOWSHIP DETAILS:\n\n 12-month fellowship appointment (renewable annually)\n 5 hours per week\n \nDeadline to Submit Application Material:An initial application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.\n \nApplication Process:When submitting your online application, please include a cover letter, current resume, and professional references.
