The laboratory of Dr. Liu at the Department of Biology, Saint Louis University, St. Louis, MO, USA, seeks one highly motivated postdoctoral researcher associate or research technician to study the structure and function of proteins involved in photophysics and photochemistry in both oxygenic photosynthesis, such as cyanobacteria and higher plants as well as anoxygenic photosynthesis (green sulfur bacteria, GSB). Experience in Molecular Biology (PCR, cloning, protein expression and isolation from E.coli cells) and Protein biochemistry (chromatography, SDS-PAGE, western blot, enzymatic assays, protein chemical labeling).
