With two co-located medical colleges, a college of nursing, a college of veterinary medicine, and nationally recognized programs in animal and agricultural sciences and our world-renowned Facility for Rare Isotope Beams ( https://frib.msu.edu/ ) the Institute for Quantitative Health Sciences and Engineering, and clinical imaging research ( https://izzofamilymedicalcenter.com/ ) combined with established and emerging clinical partnerships across the state, CIIGT is a truly distinctive research environment, unlike any other in the world. As part of this strategic investment, faculty members will bring or develop innovative, externally funded research programs and work closely with the CIIGT Director and investigators across the Colleges of Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, and other university partners to advance translational imaging research spanning human and animal health.
